- Chapel in 't Zand (pilgrimage church) with its very special procession corridor

You can visit the National Indies monument by car. It is about a mile outside the center in a different direction.

Cuypers House
The Cuypershuis is the museum about the Roermond architect/designer Pierre Cuypers (1827-1921) and is located in the former home and workshop of Cuypers. The museum establishes links between interiors and traditional design.
In the Historiehuis you will become acquainted with the history of Roermond. From its origins up to and including this century, the city has had an eventful past. Trade, changes of power, monasteries, art places and the oldest resident of the city, Christopher, are themes that are shown in a stimulating way.

ECI culture factory
